'I'he walls surrounding the easterly deck are to be replaces by standard 2x—'
stud wall construction, in the place of the prefabricated 2 ?/2 " sandwiicli
bearing walls improperly flashed for the exposed ocean exposure. The Sills
have rotted and the doors to the deck must be replaced. The pair of DI{
windows are to be replaced with new units, with head flashing. Compiete
flashing shall be installed to protect the new beams, sills and hearing plates,
1'he existing exposed trusses over the living room shall have proper
bearing on 2x5 headers over openings, and are supported on new plate
over, as required by inspection.
