the erector with advice concerning the temporary and perma-
nent bracing of all trusses in accordance with "Bracing
Wood Trusses, Pamphlet BTW-76";
4. All Floor Trusses shall be designed to carry a live load
of 40 psf plus a dead load of 10 psf on the top chord and
a live load of 5 psf on the bottom chord. They shall be
designed for a nominal load duration and may not exceed
a deflection of L/360 under full loading;
S. All Roof Trusses shall be designed to carry a live load of
30 psf for snow on the top chord plus a 10 psf dead load
and a 10 psf dead load on the bottom chord, Plus a 125 lb
concentrated load at the center of the truss. They shall
be designed for a 15% allowable stress increase for short-
term loading on materials. Their design shall produce a
scissor truss with an exterior slope of 71 in 12 and an
interior slope of 4 in 12;
6. Due to the top heaviness of the scissor trusses special
attention must be given to bracing requirements;
