BP-653ZT _j -:5/'j 1-cj z 'Z-0rR_-Czj GENERAL NOTES: 1. Floor and Roof Trusses shall be manufactured by Reliable Truss Co., Inc. of New Bedford, MA, or approved equal; 2. All trusses must be designed by a structural engineer, licensed to practice in Massachusetts, engaged by the truss manufacturer., to produce a design in accordance with the design specifications for metal plate -connected wood trusses T.P.I. -78 and T.C.T-80; 3. The truss manufacturer shall provide all bracing members and mark their location on the fabricated trusses and assist the erector with advice concerning the temporary and perma- nent bracing of all trusses in accordance with "Bracing Wood Trusses, Pamphlet BTW-76"; 4. All Floor Trusses shall be designed to carry a live load of 40 psf plus a dead load of 10 psf on the top chord and a live load of 5 psf on the bottom chord. They shall be designed for a nominal load duration and may not exceed a deflection of L/360 under full loading; S. All Roof Trusses shall be designed to carry a live load of 30 psf for snow on the top chord plus a 10 psf dead load and a 10 psf dead load on the bottom chord, Plus a 125 lb concentrated load at the center of the truss. They shall be designed for a 15% allowable stress increase for short- term loading on materials. Their design shall produce a scissor truss with an exterior slope of 71 in 12 and an interior slope of 4 in 12; 6. Due to the top heaviness of the scissor trusses special attention must be given to bracing requirements; 7. All concrete shall develop 4,000 psf at 28 days; B. All reinforcing bars shall be ASTM A-36 and free of rust and oily coatings. -T I Q V"f_ X7II U - CZC(fl -F0 U N OA-r(C,,-j 1LOOff, Z-1:2 r2_ M&IJAUM f?nq—( VA TC' : I Z'es U - CZC(fl -F0 U N OA-r(C,,-j 1LOOff, Z-1:2 r2_ M&IJAUM f?nq—( VA TC' : I Z'es
