Chairman Choubah opened the hearing LEGAL AD: Notice is hereby given of a public hearing to be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 6:00 P.M. in Meeting Room 304, Town Hall, 400 Slocum Road, Dartmouth, MA on the petition of Robert & Patricia DeAngelis who are seeking a Special Permit to construct a 364 sq. ft. free standing pool house with water and sewer. The property is located at 2 West High Street in the General Residence District and identified on Assessor’s Map 113 as Lot 40-1. Information is on file in the office of the Board of Appeals and may be seen upon request. (Section 5.302 Accessory Buildings or Structures with Kitchen or Bathroom Facilities) ADVERTISED: The Notice for public hearing was published in The Dartmouth Chronicle on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 and Wednesday, March 28, 2018. ABUTTER’S LIST: Robert Gardner Jr., motioned to waive the reading of the abutter’s list, The motion was seconded by Michael Medeiros. Motion passed unanimously. Robert DeAngelis, Petitioner, stated he applied for a Special Permit to construct a 365 sq. ft. free standing pool house with water and sewer. The 2 season pool house will be used from May to Labor Day. Chairman Choubah invited any Board members to ask questions. Chairman Choubah stated that there was a discrepancy between the site plan and the architectural plans. The site plans show the proposed pool house is 12x16 and the covered porch 12x10. The actual size of the pool house is 14x16 and the covered porch is 14x10. Chairman Choubah stated a condition will be added stating that a revised site plan be submitted prior to the issuance of a building permit. No further questions from the Board members. Chairman Choubah invited public comments. No comments from the public. The Board made findings which are listed in the Decision. The Board made proposed conditions which are listed in the Decision. Chairman Choubah asked if there were any further Board or public comments. No further comments. Chairman Choubah asked for a motion to close the public hearing. Michael Medeiros made the motion to close the public hearing. The motion was seconded by Alvin Youman. The motion passed unanimously. Michael Medeiros made the motion to approve the SPECIAL PERMIT Case # 2018-07 in accordance with the Board’s stated findings and proposed conditions. The motion was seconded by Alvin Youman.
